IRIS

IRIS is a Biological Product Control and Certification Body, whose operation was approved by Ministerial Decree published in Government Gazette 1012 / B / 27/07/2006, as set forth in the current National Legislation. IRIS was approved by the then Ministry of Agriculture as a European body and its Certificates are recognized worldwide. However, it is the first and only Organic Certification Body based in Crete. Our goal was and is to be in the countryside, at the heart of rural developments, and to be as close as possible to our producer-business customers. The vision of the creator and founder of IRIS, the late Georgios Chatzidakis agronomist and cultivator, was to create a reputable Organic Certification Body, whose goal was to provide the consumer with a safe biological product and as its focus. His vision has been shared by all of us who have taken it upon ourselves and have been serving it faithfully and consistently since 2006.
