Assess product safety
Document product characteristics, foreseeable use and misuse, consumers at risk, interactions, cybersecurity effects where relevant, and other safety factors.
Maintain technical documentation
Keep the product description, risk analysis, standards, tests, controls, and evidence for the required retention period.
Identify products and operators
Connect type, batch or serial identifiers to manufacturer, importer, EU responsible person, contact, and distribution records.
Control online product information
Provide required product, manufacturer, responsible-person, warning, and safety information in distance-sale offers.
Report and correct unsafe products
Coordinate incident reporting, authority notification, warnings, withdrawal, recalls, remedies, and effectiveness tracking.
Regulatory workflow in practice
