AB “Linas” is one of the biggest linen textile producers in the Baltic States with more than 60 years of experience. AB Linas offers customers, who value naturalness and modernity, high-quality linen or linen blend fabrics (solid and yarn-dyed, printed, jacquard, structured) for home textiles and clothing. Oeko-tex certificated. Our aim is to present natural, environmentally friendly linen fabrics and home textile. Linas is the largest linen textiles producer in Lithuania and the Baltic States. Deep traditions and long-lived work experience are upheld since 1957 when Panevezys linen company was established. Linen is a national value for Lithuanian people. All over the world, Lithuania is famous for its linen fabrics and linen products and this is because Lithuania has a long tradition in manufacturing and using linen fabrics. All traditional clothes were made only from 100% linen fabrics. Linas is well known for incorporating its core values and high standards into their product and their company. Values such as authenticity, reliability, and high quality. They symbolize the exclusive Northern linen quality. Linas produces a variety of linen fabrics including natural, dyed, printed, and jacquard for fashion and interiors. Since 2003 Linas has been working according to the universally accepted quality requirements which correspond to the OEKO-TEX 100 standards. Our company is dedicated to remaining modern by constantly investing in progressive technologies. All yarn dyeing, weaving, finishing, and sewing services, from yarn preparation to weaving the final product, every step is thought out. The advance in modern technology not only preserves the best quality of linen fiber but also creates an exceptional combination of elegance and functionality for their customers. After three generations, our company is taking on a new challenge for the beginning of the 21st century. We are in the process of a change of people thinking and behaviour to use natural, ecological fabrics for home textile and garments, wisely use available resources and to choose the best products. In order to protect the environment, AB Linas development team have launch new project-special collection made from recycled yarns. The collection has been made using linen and recycled yarns combination. These fabrics have a special „double“ advantage: linen fiber is ecological by itself because it absolutely does not leave any waste and when growing –  doesn‘t make any harm to nature and ecology. Recycled yarns, such US cotton from post-consumer waste, polyester from upcycledU PET bottles are made without using any water, chemicals and generate zero CO2 emissions during production. Transforming the global supply chain to reduce waste, recapture raw material and using flax fiber combination in our fabrics  – we have made collection which best contributes to sustainability.
