MAKILI FARM, LLC

Makili Farm is a 5 1/2 acre farm near Holualoa on the slopes of Hualalai in North Kona on the Big Island of Hawaii. On this richly diverse farm Kathy and Rob Vass grow the famed Kona Coffee along with a wide variety of other crops including vanilla, macadamia nuts, bananas, avocados, cacao, citrus, tropical fruits (another long list!) and veggies - all certified organic and grown using sustainable, responsible agricultural methods. Our deep volcanic soil, afternoon cloud cover and organic methods ensure the finest coffee. The coffee cherry is handpicked when ripe, pulped and dried before being milled and roasted. We currently offer medium and medium dark roast but can custom roast for larger orders. We also sell green coffee in bulk. Our vanilla is grown under shade, hand pollinated, hand picked and processed here on our farm. We sell it in single or 5 bean packs.
