In every stage of the production, process controls applied with high technology equipment enable the consistency of the high quality that we attained and each spun yarn makes us closer to the best. Before modern industrialization, production had been made by masters in small workshops at a low speed .The masters were also responsible for the quality of products themselves . While the production was going on at this rate, revolution of industrialization took place.

After that, machines producing much faster and cheaper replaced manpower. As a result of these developments, production and quality control works were separated. Inspection stations were created as a new unit within businesses and inspectors started to control the products made by other workers. During this process, real control function before the industrial revolution began to disappear.

The work carried out by the inspectors mainly consisted of removing the faulty product in order not to deliver to the customer. In the late 19th century, a system which perhaps made the United States the leader of the world.

Taylor system: This system means in brief “When all the works are split into simple and small pieces that do not require any skill and when they are standardized, under -qualified individuals who have received a short term training are able to carry out the work even requiring a high level skill in an excellent way.” Total quality management is defined in the most general sense as constantly improving all the activities in an establishment and to reach the profitability with the certain active participation of all the employees in the organisation after satisfying customers, employees and the society .

As it is understood from this definition, a significant change is seen in the roles expected from the employees and administrators, which is different from the classical approach. The new perception is as follows: On one hand carrying out all the responsibilities completely ;

however ,on the other hand always considering how to make the work more productive and improve the work processes, integrating these considerations and skills into the system with the specified systematic participation methods.
