Conservas Emperatriz is a family business located in La Rioja, dedicated to the manufacture of canned vegetables and fish with more than seventy workers on its staff. Established in La Rioja in the 60s, the founder's mother sold sardines and fish in the neighboring towns, her son started buying fruit and dehydrating it in the sun, specifically the busy Claudia de la Rioja plum, later and with technical advances, the manufacturing through pasteurization methods, from there to products from the Riojan garden such as asparagus or tomato.
