Wang Yeyi

Wang Yeyi is a dedicated smallholder managing a 20-year-old acacia plantation on Hainan's red-soil plateau. In April 2023, Wang obtained a felling permit (No. 2237360) authorizing the harvest of 586 m³ of timber. The logs were felled in December 2023 and transported approximately 12 kilometers to the Yifeng sawmill. This operation provides diversified income for local Li families, who inter-crop the plantation with cassava, blending sustainable forestry with agricultural practices.
