The group, with businesses worldwide, focuses primarily on polymer and fiber products, including industrial protective wear and fabrics used by firefighters. Its business sectors include aerospace, financial services, leisure/entertainment, real estate, and specialty chemicals. The InterTech Group is owned by the founding Zucker family. The group was founded in 1982.
