Vicki Murdoch's journey began in Scotland, and after moving to London at the age of 17, she honed her skills at Chelsea Art School, specializing in textiles and digital print. Her talent and unique vision led to the launch of her first silk scarf collection exclusively at Liberty London in 2011. Since then, Silken Favours has been a mainstay at Liberty for over a decade, and its products have graced the shelves of prestigious retailers like Net-a-Porter, Lane Crawford, Heals, Opening Ceremony, and Luisa Via Roma. Now based in Frome, Somerset, Vicki runs Silken Favours from her Studio Shop, where she lives with her daughter and partner. The company's product range has expanded significantly over the years and now includes silk scarves, silk cushions, ready-to-wear items, wallpaper, eye masks, notebooks, scrunchies, hanging decorations, and even fringed ponchos. These products are known for their colorful, illustrative, and nature-inspired designs that bring joy and a touch of whimsy to everyday life.
