SC ECOINSPECT SRL

The company Ecoinspect SRL is the first Romanian body for inspection and certification of organic food products, established in 2002 in Cluj-Napoca, at the initiative of the Association of Bio- farmers in Romania Bioterra , by a number of 23 associates, natural and legal persons from Romania, Switzerland, Germany, Hungary and the Republic of Moldova. The first accreditation certificate with the number 045 – C was issued by the Romanian Accreditation Association RENAR , and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development has assigned the identification code RO-ECO-008 to Ecoinspect SRL . In 2007, Ecoinspect SRL started the IOAS - USA (International Organic Accreditation Service) accreditation procedure, in 2008 obtaining the accreditation certificate. The company Ecoinspect SRL operated on the basis of the IOAS accreditation between 2008 and 2013. In accordance with the modifications of the national regulations regarding the organization of the inspection and certification system, of the approval of the inspection and certification bodies / control and supervision bodies of the control bodies activity, in organic farming, the Company Ecoinspect SRL signed in 2012, an accreditation contract with the Romanian Accreditation Association RENAR, procedure that was finalized on 30.04.2013, by issuing the accreditation certificate no. OIC-PE 007. In the first two years of activity, Ecoinspect SRL benefited from the support of Biokontroll Hungary - body for inspection and certification of organic products. The support consisted in the transfer of technical know-how, inspector training programs and support for the elaboration of the quality system documentation. Field of activity: Live animals or unprocessed products of animal origin Documentation Aquaculture products Agricultural products processed for use as food Agricultural products processed for use as animal feed; Vegetative propagation material and seeds for culture Unprocessed vegetable products; Services: conformity assessment of agricultural products according to Regulation (EC) no. 834/2007 and all its implementing rules in force; inspection in accordance with private standards Biosuisse, NOP (National Organic Prorogram) and Naturland. The main purpose of Ecoinspect SRL is to provide the guarantee that the certified products fully comply with the regulations in force regarding organic farming, and the certification process is transparent, independent, efficient and credible to the consumer. The company Ecoinspect SRL guarantees the free access to the services offered, in an unconditional and non-discriminatory way for any applicant, regardless of the size of the unit, of the affiliation with different associations or interest groups, without favoring or delaying in any way the certification process.
