MY RED TEA Organic Rooibos Tea is a passion for health, for fairness and for the environment I created MY RED TEA Organic Rooibos Tea to share with you all the benefits of our 100% Organic, natural and pure Rooibos. Known to generations of South Africans, Rooibos is naturally high in anti-oxidants, caffeine-free and bursting with vitamins and minerals. I’m a mom of two boys and live in Corte Madera, CA, but still call South Africa my home. I grew up (literally) with Rooibos: a naturally caffeine free beverage that has been used by generations of South Africans for anything from a delicious anytime drink, to a soothing elixer for any skin at any age. A beverage to calm Baby’s colic, to putting in the bath for dry & flaky skin and even to help soothe diaper rash. You name it, we used Rooibos as the remedy. Naturally sweet and nutty, MY RED TEA Organic Rooibos tea is delicious hot or cold, with honey, lemon or a drop of milk. Added to bath water, it acts as a soothing and hydrating elixir to soak tired and aching or sunburned bodies. As I’m sure you’ve gathered, I’m a massive Rooibos fan, not just because I grew up with it and it reminds me of home, but also because of the incredible health benefits it provides to the whole family – from baby to granny. Inside and out. Organic, sustainable, ethically farmed products and practices that truly deliver on health and wellness is what MY RED TEA is all about. A few talking points: MY RED TEA is meaningful: I created MY RED TEA to incorporate you, it’s your red tea, your health and your well being. It also belongs to the farmers and farm workers, its their red tea too and they’re proud of it. 10% of our profits support education in our Rooibos farming communities. We made our first donation to a school for farmworkers in September 2016. No funny stuff! Just as nature intended – exactly what you should and would expect – no marketing frills or gimmicks, just 100% organic and natural Rooibos Tea. Suppliers who share our beliefs: We’re very careful to pick suppliers who support our values and care just as much about our world and its inhabitants as we do. Sustainable Packaging: We strive to use packaging and processes that have the least impact on the environment. Limited Production: MY RED TEA is selective and sources Organic Rooibos from high in the Cederberg mountains. It’s good for all of us: Studies have shown that Rooibos has some pretty amazing properties. Full of vitamins and minerals, it is a naturally caffeine free, gluten free product with many benefits. It’s good for the environment: I’m a Mom of two boys and I want all of us to enjoy this planet for a good while yet – that means producing something that is sustainable and organic. No irrigation is used for Rooibos which often grows in drought like conditions, saving precious water resources. Rooibos is still harvested by hand in much the same way as it has been for hundreds of years.
