Mergü Textile Company, founded on June 26th, 1997, by textile engineers Işın Yılmaz and Muammer Yılmaz, initially established itself with the Gordion brand, specializing in men's shirt production for the local market. Over time, the company expanded its operations to cater to export markets, particularly in European countries such as Germany, Sweden, and the Netherlands. Evolving beyond men's shirts, the company diversified its product range to include women's blouses, skirts, dresses, and children's apparel, demonstrating expertise in combining fabric mixtures within garments. In 2005, as opportunities in the Far East opened up to European countries, Mergü Textile repositioned itself, focusing on serving prestigious luxury brands like Dolce & Gabbana, Prada, and Jean's Paul Gaultier, among others. Today, the company operates internationally, serving markets in Italy, Germany, Sweden, the Netherlands, England, France, and beyond, producing collections for mid-high to high-end brands across men's, women's, kids', and baby apparel categories.
