Grupo Famsa is a retail chain with about 360 stores located in more than 75 cities throughout Mexico. The company also has a presence in the US, with about three dozen locations in predominantly Hispanic markets in Arizona, California, Illinois, Nevada, and Texas. Grupo Famsa offers credit and financing options, as well as travel agency and auto financing services. The company also operates Banco Ahorro Famsa, a commercial bank. Grupo Famsa was founded in Monterrey, Mexico, in 1970.
