About FABRICATO SA

We are a company dedicated to the textile products marketing and manufacturing, whose competitive excellence is based on the efficiency of the administrative, financial, commercial and industrial processes; our target customers are clothing companies; our actions are oriented by market needs and the optimization of our resources, with strict respect for the legal, environmental and social framework; a fast and appropriate reaction to the many scenery changes complete our strategic approach.

At Fabricato we have understood the environmental message and we are changing. Our commitment to reducing the use of “virgin” resources is being reflected in almost all aspects of textile production, from the adequate conservation of 280,000 trees in our La García dam protection zone, to the effort to send almost nothing to sanitary landfills. In the last 5 years we have increased efforts to reduce the environmental footprint, which is how today we have a wastewater treatment plant that allows us to take the water that is discarded from our production processes, treat it and convert it into water with sufficient quality to Being reused industrially, its capacity allows us to say that 65% of the water used is reused incessantly.

The idea of not using virgin resources for manufacturing to make fabrics is already part of Fabricato's dynamics, since last year we presented to the market our line of fabrics made with fiber recovered from our textile processes, and the clothing scraps of many of our clients. This and other alternatives in the use of diverse fibers that use fewer natural resources in their manufacture are part of our long-term strategy.
The textile manufacturing processes have been intervened thinking of reducing the environmental impact, in the Denim line we introduced the indigo dyeing process to the market with a 92% reduction in water consumption, and with zero liquid discharge to the effluent, this way of dyeing revolutionizes the process and becomes an additional step in our goal of zero impact on the environment.

All these advances and many more that we compile in this environmental sustainability report, put Fabricato at the highest level of progress in the global challenge of the textile industry, which must inevitably change its processes and forms in such a way that they are sustainable over time.
