OUR WORK IS OUR BOND Dr. M.Taher Fouad founded Biotron Laboratories in 1979. His passion for health and science converged in his commitment to discovering the role of minerals and trace elements in the human body. Biotron's history is inextricably linked to Mineral Amino Acid Chelates and their role in human nutrition, and Dr. Fouad's pioneering of these efforts. Today Biotron carries forward Dr. Fouads's lifework with a primary focus on scientifically validated mineral chelates and complexes. Following in his father's footsteps, Dr. Gameil T. Fouad now presides over daily operations at Biotron. Gameil earned his B.S. in Human Biology at the University of Utah, and went on to earn his Ph.D. at the Department of Molecular and Medical Genetics at the Oregon Health & Science University. In his role as President, Gameil approaches mineral nutrition from a unique industry perspective, bringing new ideas to bear on minerals. Along with his expert team, Gameil actively applies these tools to the health and nutrition field with the aim of developing mineral products that are highly compatible with human physiology on a molecular level. To date the Biotron Process has achieved wide spread recognition as a unique and scientifically valid technique, which utilizes the complete amino acid profile derived from enzymatic treatment of isolated vegetable proteins–a process resulting in authentic Mineral Amino Acid Chelates and Complexes.
