Valiguard has a unique franchise agreement to carry out audits and certifications for SAI Global in the Scandinavian countries. Under the name of SAI Global Scandinavia, we carry out about 300 audits a year with a focus on food safety and quality. We are thus one of the leading companies on third-party food certification in the Nordic countries. Our accountants are very experienced and have a solid background in food. Valiguard was formed on the initiative of SIK in response to the growing demand for a qualified assessment of food safety systems in the industry. SIK's association with the then EFSIS owner enabled a quick start of the certification business. Since its inception, we have seen growth of over 20% per annum and today we have a strong position in the Swedish market.
