AGRECO was founded in the late 1980s by Dipl.-Ing. Richard Göderz founded. One of the first areas of work was the control of organic associations. In 1992 AGRECO was one of the first German organic inspection bodies to receive state approval (DE-ÖKO-012). AGRECO is approved by the BLE for all control areas nationwide. AGRECO has also been operating in third countries outside the EU since 1993 and is licensed as a third country inspection body . From the beginning, activities in third countries included Romania, which entered the EU in 2007. Since then, AGRECO has been approved as an EU inspection body in Romania ( RO-ECO-015 ). AGRECO RF GÖDERZ GmbH was founded in 2000. AGRECO is after is DIN ISO / IEC 17065 by the German Accreditation Body (Dakks) accredited .
