URBN is a multinational lifestyle retail corporation that owns several global consumer brands, such as Urban Outfitters, Anthropologie, Free People, FP Movement, Anthropologie Weddings, Terrain, Menus & Venues, and Nuuly. It was founded in 1970 as a small store across the street from the University of Pennsylvania, offering a unique retail experience and community center for creative, college-age customers. Since then, it has grown to operate over 200 stores in the United States, Canada, Europe, and the Middle East, providing experiential retail environments that combine a curated mix of women’s, men’s, accessories and home products with an eye toward creativity and cultural understanding.
