The brand's journey began with Vicki Murdoch's move from Scotland to London at the age of 17, where she pursued textiles at Chelsea Art School, specializing in digital print. Her first silk scarf collection was launched exclusively at Liberty London in 2011, and since then, Silken Favours has been a mainstay there for over a decade. The brand's reach has extended to various prestigious outlets like Net-a-Porter, Lane Crawford, Heals, Opening Ceremony, and Luisa Via Roma.

Silken Favours' product range is diverse, encompassing silk scarves, cushions, ready-to-wear items, wallpaper, eye masks, notebooks, scrunchies, hanging decorations, and even fringed ponchos. Each piece is a colorful, illustrative, and nature-inspired work of art that can be worn, framed, or used to add a touch of joy to any living space. The silk scarves come in various styles, including handkerchiefs, neckerchiefs, skinnies, shawls, and the classic square 90x90cm style. The silk cushions are statement pieces in themselves, made by hand in Britain with a silk front and cotton velvet back. The silk shirts are luxurious and feature unique designs like grumpy cats with roses or leopards with bumblebees, all adorned with tassels. Vicki Murdoch now resides in Frome, Somerset, with her family, where she continues to run Silken Favours from her Studio Shop. Her commitment to creating pieces that bring joy and beauty into people's lives remains the core of the brand's philosophy.
