India, too, left a lasting impression, with its hardworking women in beautiful saris inspiring Ange to focus on uplifting and celebrating women through her designs.

Upon returning from their travels, Ange and Jim settled in Maui, where Ange began selling her creations at local Farmer's Markets in 2007. The products, which included Indian wrap skirts made from recycled saris, handbags, and the signature Mexicana clutch, were an instant hit. The brand's name, Cleobella, is a tribute to Ange's mother and great grandmother, symbolizing the brand's connection to family and tradition.
