Seiko Holdings is a Japanese company that is best known for its watches, clocks, and precision timing devices. The company has a long history dating back to 1881, when it was founded by Kintaro Hattori. Today, Seiko Holdings is a holding company for a number of subsidiaries, including Seiko Watch, which makes a variety of watches, including the Kinetic and Thermic series. Seiko Watch also makes mass-market watch brands Pulsar and Lorus. In addition to watches, Seiko Holdings' other subsidiaries include Seiko Clock, Seiko Instruments, Seiko Optical Products, Seiko Sports Life, and Seiko Precision.
