The company's footwear segment, consisting of subsidiaries McRae Footwear and Dan Post Boot Co., manufactures combat boots for the US and foreign militaries, Western boots, and work boots. Dan Post Boot markets and distributes boot brands Laredo, Dingo, John Deere, and Dan Post. A third subsidiary, Compsee, manufactures bar code readers, printers, and optical data-collection equipment. Compsee also licenses and sells computer software worldwide. The McRae family controls more than 50% of the company's voting power.
