About SINOBI

SINOBI:

The Origin and Philosophy of SINOBI

The story of the SINOBI brand began in 2019 when founders Alexander (Ukrainian) and Shushan (Armenian) envisioned creating footwear that would be both stylish and healthy while also promoting sustainability. After extensive research and experimentation, they developed a combination that fulfilled these purposes and laid the foundation for a much broader philosophy.

The Philosophy:

SINOBI is on a mission to spread mindfulness and awareness through a simple yet attentive attitude toward life. The brand believes that everything starts from within ourselves. Only by living mindfully can we organize our lives in a sustainable way. The way we treat ourselves shapes our attitude toward the world around us. In essence, it's like putting on our own oxygen mask first before assisting others.

The Three Pillars:

  1. Minimalistic Design: SINOBI embraces minimalism in its design approach. Clean lines, simplicity, and functionality are key elements. The brand's aesthetic reflects a sense of calm and purpose.
  2. Sustainability: SINOBI is committed to sustainable practices. From materials sourcing to production processes, they prioritize eco-friendly choices. Their goal is to leave a positive impact on the environment.
  3. Orthopaedics: SINOBI's footwear features orthopedic insoles that provide comfort, stability, and various health benefits. These insoles help relieve muscle fatigue, reduce joint stress, improve blood circulation, and ensure proper alignment.

Inspiration from Japanese Culture

The brand draws inspiration from Japanese culture, known for its sensible approach to life, spiritual values, and emphasis on health. In homage to this inspiration, SINOBI's name pays tribute to Japanese concepts. Although often confused with shinobi ninjas, SINOBI represents a different phenomenon. It embodies values essential for life: mindfulness, endurance, taking responsibility for one's destiny, and devotion to others. Transparency and openness also form the pillars of SINOBI's activities.

Design Influence

One of the first SINOBI pairs was inspired by traditional Japanese geta shoes—wooden sandals elevated from the ground. These shoes, a less formal rendition of zori shoes, influenced the design. SINOBI aims to infuse its creations with a touch of Japanese aesthetics and philosophy.

The Team

Let's get to know the team behind SINOBI by answering five simple questions:

  1. Alexander: Co-founder and inspired by samurai philosophy.
  2. Shushan: Co-founder and passionate about sustainability.
  3. Philosophy: Mindfulness, endurance, responsibility, and devotion.
  4. Design: Minimalistic, influenced by Japanese culture.
  5. Craftsmanship: Exquisite and mindful.

In summary, SINOBI is more than a footwear brand—it's a lifestyle choice that combines style, health, and consciousness.
