Lindéngruppen AB is a family-owned business that focuses on the sustainable long-term development of industrial companies. It was founded in 1989 by Ulf G. Lindén, who acquired Beckers, a leading supplier of industrial paints and coatings. Since then, Lindéngruppen has expanded its portfolio to include Colart, a world-leading art materials company; Alex Begg, a specialised manufacturer of luxury textiles; and Höganäs, the world’s largest producer of metal powder. Lindéngruppen’s purpose is to empower its companies to prosper and lead the transformation to a sustainable world. It does so by taking an active-ownership approach that supports governance, capital, competence and positive impact. Lindéngruppen also engages in strategic partnerships that support society at large and contribute to its long-term goals. These include collaborations in the fields of art, education and children’s rights with organisations such as Färgfabriken, Beckers Art Award, Blekinge Institute of Technology and Global Child Forum. Lindéngruppen is based in Höganäs, Sweden, and has more than 5,300 employees in 27 countries. In 2022, its companies had a combined turnover of approximately SEK 21.4 billion.
