About Lefrik

Lefrik is a Madrid-based brand that makes backpacks and travel accessories from recycled plastic bottles. The company was founded in 2012 by Curra Rotondo, a fashion industry veteran, and David Ruiz Andrés, the founder of Grenergy, one of the largest renewable-energy companies in Spain.

Lefrik is committed to sustainability and has been recognized for its efforts in creating eco-friendly products. The brand uses the highest quality fabrics made out of recycled plastic PET bottles, which reduces the use of virgin polyester and saves energy and water in the production process. Lefrik also ensures that its products are ethically and responsibly sourced, and that its packaging is certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC).

Lefrik holds several standards and certifications that attest to its environmental and social performance. Some of its supply chain is certified by bluesign, Business Social Compliance Initiative Code of Conduct (BSCI), Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit (SMETA), and {Social Accountability International (SA8000)}. Its products are made from Global Recycle Standard (GRS) recycled materials and are listed as vegan by PETA Cruelty Free. Lefrik's Code of Conduct covers the ILO Four Fundamental Freedoms principles and it traces most of its supply chain.

Lefrik's products are not only sustainable and ethical, but also practical, functional, and stylish. The brand offers a wide range of backpacks, totes, shoulder bags, laptop cases, purses, pencil cases, and other products and accessories that are water-resistant, durable, and versatile. Lefrik's products are designed to suit the needs of urban travelers, commuters, and students who value convenience, comfort, and quality. Lefrik also produces long-lasting products that come with a 5-year warranty.
