In the last 100 years, Hampton Farms has evolved from a small family business into a family of companies, with a shared commitment to excellence. 2. • After World War II, Garland Dallas Barnes returned from military service and founded Severn Peanut Company with his father, George Dallas Barnes.
3. • Garland, affectionately known as "Mutt" Barnes, was there from day one and later served as president until the 1980s.
4. • Today, G. Dallas Barnes (Mutt's son) and his namesake grandson lead the Hampton Farms family of companies.
