This remarkable journey traces back to the early Seventies when American anthropologist James Vreeland made a groundbreaking discovery. While delving into the intricacies of pre-Columbian textiles in Lima, Vreeland noticed unique 'masses' within his cotton fiber samples that bestowed a distinctive color upon fabrics. Through interactions with local experts, he unveiled a centuries-old natural dyeing practice deeply ingrained in Peruvian cotton farming.
