KAFTAN is an eco-conscious clothing brand that is dedicated to sustainable, ethical and slow production. Feminine, comfortable and timeless, with a bit of edge, a touch of luxe and a bohemian twist. Effortless style for the modern free-spirited woman who appreciates beauty, travel, and life.

Inspired by living in harmony with nature our collections are made using plant-based fabrics, natural plant dyes and eco-friendly inks. Small batches consciously designed and ethically handmade in Bali using quality fabrics and finishings and plastic-free packaging. Our materials are sourced locally as much as possible to reduce our carbon footprint and to support local artisans and businesses.

We give back a proportion of our sale proceeds to support social and environmental causes in Bali and are currently donating 1% of sales to help feed a Balinese family in need during the COVID-19 pandemic.

KAFTAN is about freedom, travel, art, culture and the nomadic lifestyle.

We want to live in a world where all fashion is sustainable. Fashion is one of the major polluting industries in the world. We think it’s really important to start making steps towards turning things around and we want to do our bit to make the world a better place.

As an eco-conscious brand we believe in sustainable living and we infuse these ethics into the design and manufacture of our clothes. From the fabrics we use to the dyes we pick, to our choice of textile print methods. It’s an ongoing process, which we continue to improve on as we learn more about sustainable ways of doing things.

Through our actions, we want to encourage and spark positive change. We hope to increase awareness so that consumers can make more conscious choices which will help to reduce our carbon footprint and our impact on mother earth.
