Our mission is to protect the health and wellness of people, pets, and the planet by creating the most authentic, sustainable, and affordable cleaning products for all. At ECOSŽ, we?ve been making laundry detergents and household cleaners that are safer for people, pets and the planet for over 50 years. Founded back in 1967, we?re still a family-owned and operated company that?s grown to four sustainable manufacturing facilities across the U.S. and over 200 products sold around the world. Our passion for safer ingredients that are inspired by nature began with our founder, a Greek immigrant who arrived in Chicago in 1953. After working in the cleaning products industry and seeing the harmful effects of toxic chemicals, he looked to the traditions of his homeland and natural ingredients like vinegar and lemon that his grandmother used to create safer cleaners that harnessed the power of nature. Today, we?re transforming the cleaning products industry with green science innovations and sustainable business practices, like our switch to 100% renewable energy. We?ve had many firsts over the years, like making the first phosphate-free auto dish gel. But our greatest first is being the first company to achieve the ?trifecta? of sustainable manufacturing: carbon neutrality, water neutrality and TRUE Platinum Zero Waste certification. Green science, innovation and affordability?that?s been the ECOSŽ promise for the last 50 years, and it?s our promise for the next 50 years too.
